145.135 Determination of death.

Subdivision 1. Citation. This section may be cited as the Uniform Determination of Death Act. Subd. 2. Determination of death. An individual is dead if the individual sustains irreversible cessation of: (1) circulatory and respiratory functions; or (2) all functions of the entire brain, including the brain stem. A determination of death must be made in accordance with generally accepted medical standards. HIST: 1989 c 93 s 1
